George worked for Ethnikos Kirikas and the National Herald from May to August of 2011. In May 2014, he began working as a staff writer for Food Republic. He subsequently held the positions of assistant contributing editor, contributing editor, and associate editor. During his time at Food Republic, he wrote over 950 articles on a variety of food-related topics.


George graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2012 with a bachelor's degree in child studies and English. In 2020, he earned a master's degree in social work from Columbia University.
