Experience

Benjamin dreamed of being a professional writer since the age of nine and spent the past decade making that dream a reality. He began as a freelance writer, interviewing professors for college papers and editing landing pages for Home Row Editorial, then transitioned to writing blog posts and eBooks for SEO experts McDougall Interactive. From 2017 to 2021, he was the Editor of Cybersecurity for Solutions Review, before fully embracing his love of food by becoming a recipe writer for a family of cooking websites under the StitchedIn/Viewport umbrella. Benjamin joined Static Media in 2025, bringing with him years immersed in cooking and baking — along with a passion for food hacks and global cultures — to his features at Food Republic.

Education

Benjamin received a bachelor's in English Literature from Clark University and a master's in Popular Fiction Writing and Publishing from Emerson College.
