A veteran restaurant manager and avid home cook, Mary King is obsessed with recreating high-end, high-touch hospitality experiences at home. She has first-hand operational knowledge of food businesses as varied as food trucks, coffee shops, Michelin-starred restaurants, and catering operations. Mary is an avid reader of restaurant social history, chef memoirs, and cookbooks. She also lovingly tends her sourdough starter (named Baba Yaga) from the kitchen of her New England farmhouse.
Education
Mary studied English Literature at Colgate University, where she had a reputation for throwing dinner parties and cooking Thursday Night Dinners with student groups in the shared chapel kitchen.
