Demilade is a professional basketball player based in Europe. While playing in college and professionally, his travels introduced him to regional specialties, from New England's famous clam chowder and lobster rolls to Spain's signature paella dishes to Romanian mici. Demilade immerses himself in each city's food scene, treating restaurant meals as research for his at-home repertoire and recipes. This passion for food has inspired him to transition from sports analysis for his Substack PivotHoops as well as Thunderous Intentions into crafting food features for Static Media.

Education

He earned a BA in Sociology from Dartmouth College and an MBA from Loyola University Chicago's Quinlan School of Business.
