Cheesecake Factory Drops Iconic Peppermint Bark For A New Minty Flavor

The holiday cheer is here, and The Cheesecake Factory has announced in a press release that it is now offering a brand new flavor of cheesecake to celebrate. The Peppermint Stick Chocolate Swirl Cheesecake has been available nationwide since November 28, either by the slice or in 10-inch whole cakes, though the company hasn't specified the exact duration of its availability.

While the beloved Peppermint Bark Cheesecake isn't returning to menus, the Peppermint Stick Chocolate Swirl Cheesecake maintains many of the same elements, but with an extra-chocolatey twist. Instead of just a white chocolate cheesecake with peppermint bark, this new version swirls together white and dark chocolate cheesecakes with peppermint to create the base. Adding to the delight, the filling rests on a mint brownie, rather than a simple chocolate crust. The dessert is topped with a layer of chocolate ganache, a dollop of whipped cream, and a sprinkle of crushed peppermint.

What other holiday flavors are available at The Cheesecake Factory?

The Peppermint Stick Chocolate Swirl Cheesecake is the only specialty cake that The Cheesecake Factory is releasing for the season. If you're not a fan of peppermint but still want a cheesecake for your holiday party, there are plenty of choices from The Cheesecake Factory's standard menu that will fit the bill beautifully. Flavors like fresh strawberry, red velvet, white chocolate raspberry truffle, and lemon raspberry all feature a festive red and white color scheme. Additionally, the cinnamon swirl, salted caramel, and cherry chocolate cheesecake options align well with the warm and comforting flavors of the holidays.

You can also save time by purchasing a plain cheesecake and adding fun toppings yourself. Spread a thin layer of melted chocolate, caramel sauce, or whipped cream, and then cover it with your choice of toppings — multicolored sprinkles, sugared cranberries, fresh raspberries and mint leaves, crushed gingersnaps, or toasted pistachios. This is also a great way to use up any leftover Halloween candy from your freezer stash.
