The Murray Cocktail

Kenneth McCoy, Michael Neff and Abdul Tabini are the men behind The Rum House in New York City.

"A grasshopper walks into a bar..." The Murray pays homage to the classic Grasshopper cocktail, but Kenneth, Michael and Abdul take the drink in a slightly more sophisticated direction swapping out Crème de Menthe in favor of Branca Menta.

The Murray is similar to the Grasshopper, but swaps out Crème de Menthe in favor of Branca Menta.
Total time: 5 minutes
Ingredients
  • 1 ounce Branca Menta
  • 1 ounce Godiva Chocolate Liqueur
  • 1 ounce heavy cream
  • mint for garnish
Directions
  1. Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice. Shake and serve up in a coupe with a sprig of mint.
