Why Not Enjoy A Nice B-Hole For Breakfast?
Right off the bat: The "b" stands for "bagel." No need for doughnuts to occupy all of "baked good hole" territory, right? B-Holes Bakery, a pop-up operation in Washington, D.C., slings one of the most delicious-sounding bites we've ever heard of: cream cheese–stuffed bagel bites. The concept is pure heaven for anyone who's ever thought, "Wow, cream cheese somehow tastes so much better slightly melted on a warm bagel."
According to Washingtonian, proprietor Grant Sarvis came up with the idea after seeing doughnut holes advertised as "d-holes." Says Sarvis, "I was just messing around with a friend, and I'm like, 'You're a b-hole! Bagel-hole!'" All summer long, Sarvis and his girlfriend will be selling these toasty, satisfying bites on weekends at a few delis, restaurants and D.C.-area farmers' markets. Follow them on Twitter to see where they're popping up near you, and get 'em while they're hot — nobody likes a cold b-hole.
