Seagull Dives Into Tikka Masala, Comes Out Bright Orange
Would anyone care for some seagull tikka masala? No, it's not a new form of disrespect toward the delicious Indian dish. According to The Guardian, a seagull fell into a waste vat of chicken tikka masala in Wales, a neighboring country of curry-loving England.
The bird was rescued by the Vale Wildlife Hospital and washed of its bright orange, phoenix-like hue. Lucy Kells, a nurse at the wildlife hospital, said the most surprising thing about the incident wasn't that the bird was going after the curry, but rather what it smelled like.
"The thing that shocked us the most was the smell," she told The Guardian. "He smelled amazing, he really smelled good."
Kells also suspects that "Gullfrazie," as the bird has been dubbed on Facebook, was malnourished and feeling like Indian food. The bird is currently rebuilding its strength and will be transferred to an aviary before being released into the wild.
