Greece: baked chicken over orzo, stuffed grape leaves, tomato and cucumber salad, fresh oranges, and Greek yogurt with pomegranate seeds

France: steak, carrots, green beans, cheese and fresh fruit

Leave it to SweetGreen, every salad lover’s personal heaven, to highlight the faults in American public-school lunch. It’s not hard to actually be kind of jealous of the typical French third-grader’s cafeteria tray, as I’ve mentioned before. While the chain’s foray into school lunch around the world is most definitely styled for the camera, it’s hard to imagine this vision is too far off from what that kid is carrying a tray of while trying to figure out who to sit with. Check out the whole gallery on SweetGreen’s Tumblr and grab a salad if you’re waiting to brave the line. We like to think the line’s a testament. A really long one.
