There's a lot more than obnoxious sports fans and cheesesteaks going on in the City of Brotherly Love. Philadelphia is home to an incredibly exciting food and craft beer scene, spurred on by an influx of big-name chefs and large amount of new openings (hey, here are 10 for the fall). In addition to playing host to Marc Vetri's celebrated empire of restaurants (we've included his famous rigatoni with chicken livers recipe below), the city has recently welcomed in a surprisingly diverse selection of dining establishments. There are still, of course, terrific casual options, like the aforementioned cheesesteak (we're big fans of Pat's here at Food Republic). We even devoted an entire week to the city's burger scene.
