According to the USDA, active males between the ages of 15 and 55 are supposed to consume roughly 3,000 calories per day. So, what does that actually look like? The good people at Visually put together this infographic measuring the amount of certain junk foods that contain exactly 3,000 calories. It's pretty gross to envision that we eat the equivalent of 15 slices of pepperoni pizza during our heaviest of meals.
