We're Posting A Thanksgiving Recipe Every Day This Month

Well, you'll have to wait for the standing rib roast (and the turkeys — that's right, two!), but here's a tantalizing slice of food porn to whet your appetite. Yes, it's November. Take down all that spooky Halloween crap til next year and let's get down to business: Thanksgiving, the biggest feast of the year, is in four weeks. What are you going to do about it?

WE are going to practice until you don't see turkey drippings as gross fat but as an essential ingredient to the best gravy. We're going to make batch after batch of macaroni and cheese until it's abundantly clear that we know exactly what we're doing. We're buying wine now, so we don't get to the liquor store the night before football-turkey day to see they've been cleaned out of everything but jugs of Cabernet blend. We are running a recipe for a perfect first course this afternoon.
