Proud Alums: 5 Chefs Recall Football Tailgates At Their Alma Maters
College football season is in full swing, with millions of fans nationwide gluing themselves to their television sets every Saturday. Can anyone stop Alabama? Will the SEC finally be dethroned? Is Johnny Manziel more likely to first win a national title or spend a night in jail? Questions abound, but one thing is for sure: the only thing better than the games just might be the tailgates that precede them. Tailgating is a tradition as rich as football itself, and we've got you covered all season long with go-to parking lot recipes.
In our Proud Alum series, we talk with chefs about attending football-centric universities and ask them to recall their memories of tailgates past. They also provide us with their best grilling recipe and some spots to catch the big game in their hometowns. The five chefs we have interviewed so far hail from some of the country's top college football powerhouses. Take a look below and be sure to check in tomorrow for a talk with UConn alum Chris Molyneux.
