Tomorrow, Burger King Unleashes An All-You-Can-Eat Promotion On Japan

First things first, some lines about a Burger King menu item in Japan called the Garlic Meat Monster, one of two new garlic-themed hamburgers available throughout the country. According to outrageous fast food watchdogs Brand Eating:

The Garlic Meat Monster lives up to its name with a quarter-pound, fire-grilled beef Whopper patty, a seasoned pork patty, and a chicken breast filet, plus fried garlic slices, red miso and green onion sauce, teriyaki sauce, lettuce, onions, tomato, and mayo. The Garlic Meat Beast/Monster will be offered for 650 yen each (≈$6.50 US).

As a way to hype their suite of garlic-themed sandwiches (the other one involves Cesar salad dressing and we will leave it at that), eight BK locations in the Kansai region of Japan are running a special all-you-can-eat promotion tomorrow from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. The ground rules are as follows: After paying 1,500 yen (US $15), customers are allowed 30 minutes to eat as much as they want — given it falls on a limited menu including the Garlic Meat Monster (natch), Whopper, fries, onion rings and a soft drink. Soft drink? We all know that hitting the Mr. Pibb during an all-you-can-eat endeavor is a rookie mistake.
