A Visual Treat: Watercolor-Illustrated Italian Recipes We Want To Cook
Italian-by-way of Australia designer Felicita Sala grew up fascinated by arts and design. After studying philosophy and European languages, she decided to pursue illustration outside of formal institutions, taking inspiration from food, philosophy, music and children. In July 2012, the artist started a series, illustrating one recipe each month. The result: 12 artful recipes broken down into simple steps as beautiful as they are delicious. Sala concluded the series last month, with her last recipe, Calamari Ripieni, inspired by her mother. Check out several of her recipes, below.
