Longtime bartender and cocktail expert Andy Seymour calls himself the Liquid Pimp and hosts a very smart YouTube show on the Tasted Channel. In this episode of Behind The Drink, Big Pimpin' hangs out with cocktail historian David Wondrich at Apotheke in New York’s Chinatown. We find out a little bit about Wondrich’s “obsessive” interest in vintage cocktail gear and recipes — which he goes into great deal in his must-read book Imbibe. But what’s most interesting about this video is how Wondrich and Pimpin' create both classic and modern spins on two cocktails, side-by-side, The Manhattan and Whiskey Sour.
