NPR Is Getting Serious About Coffee!
The NPR Science Desk and Morning Edition have teamed up this week (April 22-26) to put together Coffee Week, dedicated to illuminating the stories behind the coffee we all pour into our mugs each morning. We can get behind that, as we're always thinking about coffee. We've got our regularly coffee power rankings and all.
The series includes news and insights about the culture of coffee, a buying guide to decipher coffee labels, an investigation into the threats facing coffee plant genes and an eye-opening coffee quiz. Be sure to check out full coverage of the week over at NPR and take a look at the video below, which explains the long journey of a specialty coffee bean, from a cherry in Guatemala to a freshly brewed cup in Portland.
