New Recipes This Week: Chorizo-Mussel Pasta, Persian Lentil Patties, Fennel Wedges
You know when shakes and burgers hit the menu it's about to get warm out, and that's just where we're at. This week's recipes are heavy on the vegetarian protein — Middle Eastern lentils two ways and a Spanish blue cheese-spiked quiche that...I can't believe I'm saying this...doesn't even need bacon. Pasta swaps Italian sausage for chorizo, fennel braises every bit as nicely as short ribs, and if you have bread and eggs, there's no reason to do toast and sunny-sides with our new version of the Croque Madame.
