Vietnam has long held a tradition of serving “fresh beer” at street stalls and makeshift bars. The beer is brewed daily, always flat and served with cubes of ice. It’s a super lightweight brew (3-4%) that will most certainly not get you drunk. Alternatively, brands like Saigon and 555 are found throughout the country. The best beer I drank was the amber-hued Biere Larue, brewed in Danang.
