Word Of The Day: Bokashi
What is that smell? It's a flower, it's fresh air, no, it's your leftovers! It's definitely the bokashi method being used on your pile of compost.
Bokashi is an ancient Japanese farmer composting method. Simply cover the food waste with special microorganisms that repress the smell, giving you all the power to toss in meat and dairy products (which you couldn't do before). The method eventually produces soil that can be used in your garden. It's like turning "leftover" cash into gold.
