NYC: Wellness In The Schools Annual Benefit

Last night we attended the annual Wellness In The Schools Benefit at the Tribeca Rooftop in New York City. The organization helps coordinate nutritional education and environmental programming in schools across New York City. A great cause, indeed. Guests were invited to mingle with chefs like Bill Telepan (Telepan), Michael Anthony (Gramercy Tavern) and Jonathan Waxman (Barbuto). The Champagne flowed (and flowed and flowed), but we still managed to sneak some photos of several dishes.

The carpaccio de buey from Tertulia (beef carpaccio, sheep's milk cheese, mojo picon, pine nuts).

From Lure Fishbar and Burger & Barrel: shrimp ceviche with avocado mousse.

Cape May oysters with a cucumber-herb mignonette from Telepan.

Colorful petit fours from Tribeca Grill.
