In last week’s edition of Drink Ford Tough our cocktail columnist Simon Ford offered some options for drinking spirits at backyard BBQs, including beer cocktails, smoky spirits like mescal and Islay Single Malts and punch. These are all solid options — you should try that fish house punch recipe. But we wanted to see what you guys are into, with the Memorial Day grilling weekend upon us in just a couple short weeks. Do you prefer a crisp pinot gris over cheap domestic six packs? Here we’ve suggested serveral choices, from Kentucky bourbon and Oregon wine to craft beer from Michigan. What do you think?
