Word Of The Day: Kofta
Kofta, also known as kefta, is a Middle Eastern style of meatball eaten frequently enough to compare to the American hot dog. But kofta has a little less "dog," and significantly more "hot."
When it comes to meatballs, you have full control to mix in your own seasonings and spices like turmeric, harissa and minced garlic. And if you want to go Turkish (which FR intern Laila highly recommends), get it raw.
