Word Of The Day: Anadromous

Anadromous creatures worked their tails off to get to your plate — literally. These ocean-dwellers migrate to fresh water and make their way upstream to reproduce. Try comparing that to the furthest distance you've ever gone to get lucky (considering the upstream factor).

Salmon, shad, striped bass and sturgeon are all examples of fish who spend most of their lives in the ocean, then head to a river when it's time to lay and fertilize eggs. These fish happen to be extremely delicious as well. It must be all that core conditioning.
