Theobroma is Greek for "food of the gods." The edible seeds of this transcendent genus of plant are extremely valuable when you think you've screwed up your relationship for good this time, or if you simply can't decide what kind of soufflé to make.

Clearly, our favorite example of theobroma is the cacao plant, raw source of all that is chocolate.
