Hurricane Recipe Roundup
There you are, housebound from the hurricane with boredom and hunger keeping you company. You'd cook, but there appears to be nothing in the kitchen (because you forgot to get groceries before things got windy). Now's the time to improvise and try your hand at making logical recipe substitutions. It's not like your beef jerky's going to burst into flames if you use top round instead of strip loin. If you have even a reasonable amount of food in your fridge, freezer and pantry, you should be able to make at least a handful of these dishes without having to brave the storm to the supermarket...whose shelves will most likely be depleted anyway.
These are neither organized into meals nor particularly nutritionally complete in any way. Just like we tend to eat when nobody's looking.
