Just like the weather, Starbucks' drink menu is really heating up. On Tuesday, April 16, the coffee giant is releasing a line of brand-new spicy, cold beverages that have such kick they could even be measured on the Scoville Scale. Available for a limited time are the Spicy Strawberry, Spicy Dragonfruit, and Spicy Pineapple Lemonade Refreshers as well as a Spicy Cream Cold Foam that can go atop any favorite beverage.
Each of the Spicy Lemonade drinks combines the original Refresher's sweet tropical flavors (passionfruit and açaí, mango and dragonfruit pieces, and pineapple and passionfruit) with a tangy chili powder blend to really wake up your taste buds.
If you're looking for another option with real kick, customize any Starbucks beverage with new Spicy Cream Cold Foam. Similar to the sweet-flavored cold foams currently available, this add-on option for cold brew, iced chai, or any iced latte creates a frothy cap on your favorite chilled drink, providing a spicy creaminess with each sip to satisfy your "swicy" cravings.

Starbucks' new spring additions were inspired by the popular "swicy" food trend. This fun play on words refers to the flavor combination of sweet and spicy that has taken over the culinary and beverage world as of late. A growing list of "sweet heat" products can be found nearly everywhere, from hot honey drizzled on pizza to swanky bars mixing up spicy margaritas.
In addition to the Spicy Lemonade Refreshers and the Spicy Cold Cream Foam that are available nationwide at the coffee chain, U.S. customers that are near a Starbucks Reserve Roastery in Chicago, New York City, and Seattle can enjoy two additional swicy products: a Hot Honey Espresso Martini and Hot Honey Affogato.
The Hot Honey Espresso Martini combines Starbucks Reserve espresso, Kalak single malt vodka, sweet vanilla syrup, Ancho Reyes Chile Liqueur, and hot honey. The cocktail is garnished with the new Spicy Cream Cold Foam and black sesame seeds. The Hot Honey Affogato contains Starbucks Reserve espresso poured over vanilla gelato, garnished with hot honey, and an Amarena cherry. Prices vary by location and are available while supplies last.
