The breakfast fave known as the Western omelet is also known as a Denver omelet or a Southwestern omelet. The filling includes diced ham, green bell pepper, and onion. Feel free to add a little shredded cheddar or Swiss if you like cheese in your eggs, but this recipe is for the Western omelet purist so we’ve skipped the cheese. And in typical Food Republic style we like to keep it spicy, so we recommend serving hot sauce like Tabasco or Sriracha on the side.
