Familiar faces are gracing the March cover of Rachael Ray Every Day. Chefs Leah Cohen and Missy Robbins join Rita Sodi, Jody Williams and Anne Burrell as the faces of the new issue, available now on newsstands.
The issue focuses on women making great strides in the restaurant industry and shines a light on their work. The topics are not limited to discussion of sexual harassment, which was a critique by chef Amanda Cohen.
For the uninitiated, Robbins runs much-adored Brooklyn Italian restaurant, Lilia. We’ve popped over to check out how she makes her rigatoni al diavolo, a dish Robbins says she’d eat every day. Cohen, of Top Chef fame, is the brain behind the Lower East Side’s Pig & Khao, a restaurant that plays with Thai and Filipino flavors. She tells us a story about her early days training in Thailand, learning to make curry paste by hand.
