Sunnify Your Spring With Lindeman's Wine Cocktails

Refreshmint Mix

1 bottle Lindeman's Bin 95 Sauvignon Blanc, chilled

1⁄4 cup sugar

12  sugar mint leaves, plus 4 sprigs 

12 tarragon leaves, plus 4 sprigs

1⁄4 cup water

1 750mL bottle chilled sparkling water

1. Combine sugar, mint and tarragon leaves in a food processor and pulse a few times.

2. Transfer mixture to a small saucepan, add water and bring to a boil, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and set aside for 20 minutes. Strain mixture into a small bowl set over a larger bowl of ice, stirring occasionally. Cool to room temperature.

3. Combine in a large pitcher with wine and sparkling water. Serve over ice. Garnish with herb sprigs.

Basil Delight

8 oz. Lindeman's Bin 45 Cabernet Sauvignon, chilled

15 fresh basil leaves

1 navel orange, thinly sliced into half-moons

12 oz. seltzer water, chilled

1. Gently muddle basil and orange with a wooden spoon or muddler until basil is barely bruised.

2. Stir in wine and let sit at least 15 minutes and up to 2 hours.

3. Divide among 6 ice-filled glasses, top with seltzer water and serve.

Sunshine Sangria

1 bottle Lindeman's Bin 65 Chardonnay

2 tbsp. sugar 

2 oranges, sliced

1⁄2 lb. 1 fresh strawberries, sliced peaches, chopped 

1 lime, sliced

2 oz. triple sec

16 oz. seltzer water

1. Muddle sugar, oranges, strawberries, peaches and lime slices at bottom of a large pitcher.

2. Pour wine, triple sec and seltzer water on top of muddle, stir.

3. Refrigerate overnight and serve in a tall glass over ice with your best friends.
