Anthony Bourdain Kicks Off New Season Of 'Parts Unknown' With A Visit To Punjab

Punjab, a region of Northern India renowned for its richly spiced vegetable curries and clay-oven tandooris, is the focus in the season premier of Anthony Bourdain's Parts Unknown (airing Sunday evening on CNN, 9 p.m. EST). "Most of the good stuff we refer to simply as Indian food comes from here," says Bourdain about the episode, where we find our well-traveled host hitting the local dhabas (roadside restaurants) and markets for some of the most colorful and fragrant cooking on earth. Here is a preview...and now we're going to order some tandoori roti and khoya paneer. Parts Unknown is produced by Zero Point Zero, the parent company of Food Republic.
