Kickstart This: New Zealand Burger Cookbook With A Video That Reminds Us Of 'Her'

The Kiwis are master hamburger cookers. Well, at least my Kiwi brother-in-law James is a master hamburger cooker. This is backstory for why I clicked on the Kickstarter page of Auckland graphic designer Stephan Priest, who is raising funds for a "burger cookbook that combines the best fresh ingredients to create the perfect taste explosion between two pieces of toasted bread."

Priest promises to produce a book that includes 50 recipes, as well as 50 side dishes that pair with each burger. Some of the recipes promised include offbeat pairings like nashi pear and wasabi mayo. He's also big on bacon. "I'm not going to give away too many secrets from the book, but there's thousands of awesome things we can do with bacon," he told blog Bunny Eats Design. "I think I may have discovered the missing holly [sic] grail of bacon."

And we may have just discovered the missing holy grail of Kickstarter videos. It's like Her with way more calories. If only Josh Ozersky would have done the voiceover.
