Jose Garces, On A Research Trip In Argentina, Is Taking Over Our Instagram Account
We're big fans of Instagram, especially for documenting the great things we're eating and drinking in our New York hometown or on the road. Think slicing porchetta at a friend's house, gyros in Astoria and farmer's markets gone wild.
We've also found that chefs are into Instagram too. That's why we've asked our man Jose Garces to take over our account. If you didn't know the Philadelphia–based chef, he is one of the most decorated food figures, having been recognized by the James Beard Foundation for his cooking, which is grounded in Latin cuisine.
Today, Garces travels to Argentina on a research and development mission to inspire his forthcoming Argentinian steakhouse venture opening this spring in Washington D.C. We look forward to our Instagram feed seeing a 100% increase in asados, morcilla and yerba mate imagery.
