The merging of the flavors of Oaxaca and Taipei are not as far off as you think. Or so argues the three SF and NYC restaurant veterans behind the fundraising campaign for Lucky Luna, a progressive restaurant slated to open in late-Decemeber in Brooklyn's Greenpoint neighborhood (167 Nassau Avenue). "Lucky Luna pulls from South and Central America, China, and Vietnam in our modern approach to favorites by incorporating different cooking techniques, local produce, humanely raised meats, and healthy alternative ingredients," notes the Kickstarter campaign that aims to raise $28,000 by November 12.
