NYC: Paper Magazine's Super (Duper) Food Market Is Back This Weekend
How many times can you say "super" in one (super) paragraph? Advertised as a "super-fun three-day pop-up super-store, featuring the super-coolest food purveyors and innovators all under one roof," Paper Magazine's Super(Duper) Market is back by popular demand for a second year in New York City. Got all that?
Open to the public this Friday through Sunday, the market will transform the space at 268 Mulberry Street into a showcase of artisanal food and drink products available for purchase from over 35 nationwide vendors. Some of our favorites returning from last year include San Francisco's Humphry Slocombe ice cream, Portland's Pok Pok and New York's The Gefilteria, which will once again sell fish and horseradish. Vendors joining the fun this year will include local hotspots La Esquina and Momofuku Milk Bar.
Having attended last year's press preview, I can highly recommend stopping in this weekend (go on Friday to avoid the crowds). Humphry Slocombe's bourbon and cornflakes ice cream just might have you returning on Saturday. For more information and a full list of vendors, visit Super(Duper) Market's website.
