We're Live From The Food Republic Test Kitchen
From time to time we like to relocate from our Midtown Manhattan offices to a space that might be a little bit noisier (insert: sizzling shallot sound), but smells a hell of a lot better (insert: slow braising pork shoulder smell). Today is one of those days.
We like to call these culinary adventures the Food Republic Test Kitchen & Interview Lounge — and we like to share our day in the kitchen with you, our readers. Today we are reporting live from the Little Owl The Venue in New York City's West Village and have invited a bunch of chefs to stop by. Scheduled to appear: Hedy Goldsmith, Mourad Lahlou, Angelo Sosa, Aliya LeeKong, Amanda Freitag, Gavin Kaysen, Dale Talde, Josh Eden, Jeff McInnis, Joey Campanaro, Noah and Rae Bernamoff, Susan Spicer, Sean Brock, Paul Qui, Sam Sifton and some surprise guests.
