Photos: Food Republic After-Hours Brunch At Cochon Heritage BBQ In Memphis

To close out the first day of the Cochon Heritage BBQ in Memphis, we hosted a late-night bourbon and fried chicken party on Friday at the Court Square Center on. The event pulled many of the weekend's participating chefs like Ed Lee and Jamie Bissonnette, who joined to toast National Bourbon Month (which began promptly at 12:00 a.m. — September 1). Three-finger shots of Eagle Rare were circulated to the 150 guests to mark the occasion. Fact: If you're going to shoot brown at the end of a long day, you better make it good. Check back tomorrow morning when we bring you complete coverage from Memphis, including a hang with bacon god Allan Benton, an epic 10-restuarant bbq crawl and results from the 12-team BBQ competition.
