One Product, Two Ways: Stackable Wine Racks
When it comes to wine storage, we're forever in pursuit of new fixtures and racks to hold and showcase our goods. To supplement our expanding roster of design-forward favorites, here are two new options, both of which have the capacity for infinite add-on pieces.
Sleek and industrial-feeling, the WineHive is made from recycled aluminum in a satiny, anodized finish. True to its name, the honecomb-shaped cells feature feet that slide into those of another, giving you plenty of options in whichever direction you decide to build this thing out. Another smart feature: you can flatten WineHive's pieces when you're not using them. Offerings range from a starter pack (five bottles) which sells for $65, to a 36-bottle pack, which goes for $480.
Though it's currently in mid-campaign on Kickstarter, the STACT modular wine wall shouldn't have any issues going into production later this year (with 30 days left on the website, it had already raised 2.5 times its funding goal of $20,000). Wine bottles rest of thin aluminum slats for a weightless, minimalist look. Unlike the WineHive, STACT is wall-mountable only, however it boasts more options of terms of overall appearance. Choosy aesthetes will be able to opt from six back panel finishes, including black, walnut, bright orange and a stripey zebrano wood. One panel holds nine bottles, while two expands your collection to 21.
Which would you choose?
