Here's What You Can Expect From Travis Kelce And Patrick Mahomes' Restaurant

Just a few months after their big win at Super Bowl LVIII, Kansas City Chiefs stars Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes have announced they are entering the restaurant industry, in a partnership with Noble 33 hospitality group. According to a press release, the two football players will partner up to open a steakhouse located on the ground floor of the Loews Kansas City Hotel.

The restaurant will be titled 1587 Prime, taking its name from Mahomes and Kelce's respective jersey numbers, and promises to bring a modern, upscale dining experience to the area by early 2025.

With just the mention of the new venture, Kelce and Mahomes' restaurant has naturally grabbed a lot of attention, and it wouldn't be surprising if it ends up becoming one of the busiest restaurants in the U.S. during its opening year. Once opened, 1587 Prime will house a two-floor restaurant spanning 10,000 square feet with a few private dining rooms.

Though menu and design details are sparse so far, the press release teases an exceptional display of meats, one of the biggest wine selections in the state of Missouri, and "hyper-subtle nods to Patrick and Travis' on-field accomplishments."

Kelce and Mahomes are teaming up with Noble 33

Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes' upcoming 1587 Prime restaurant is in partnership with Noble 33 group. The hospitality company specializes in upscale dining establishments — many of which the football stars are already fans of, according to the press release. Some of the establishments already under the Noble 33 umbrella include Sparrow Italia, an upscale Italian restaurant featuring modern Mediterranean cuisine and a cigar lounge, and Toca Madera, a lively Mexican steakhouse with live music and seasonal cocktails. These venues have all received rave reviews as well as the attention of celebrities, so it should be no surprise if 1587 Prime fares the same.

Kelce and Mahomes are no strangers to Kansas City's dining scene, either. The two frequent a variety of restaurants in the area, including everything from small BBQ spots to fancy Argentine steakhouses. In fact, Kelce likely introduced his girlfriend and global pop star Taylor Swift to KC's Rye, the restaurant where she admitted that French Blondes are her favorite cocktails. "We're excited to be a part of this journey with Noble 33 to create a one-of-a-kind dining experience, and what better place to start than our very own, Kansas City," Kelce said in a supplied statement.

1587 Prime is one of seven projects Noble 33 has slated for 2024 and 2025.
