The Go-To Guide For Eating At The Best Buffets In Las Vegas

When planning a trip to fabulous Las Vegas, there are so many things to do that creating your itinerary can get a little overwhelming. With so many shows to see, casinos to visit, and sights to take in, one thing is for certain: You're going to get pretty hungry along the way. When it's time to satisfy all your cravings and fill your hungry belly, Las Vegas' many famous buffets are here to help.

In addition to its famous casinos and entertainment, Las Vegas also has an incredible food and restaurant scene. If you want to make the most out of your meals and try a little bit of everything the Vegas food scene has to offer, visiting the city's many buffets gives you a chance to do just that. Many of Las Vegas' buffets offer multiple types of international cuisine with menus created by some of the top chefs in the culinary world. However, with so many to choose from, it can be hard to narrow down which are actually worth your while (and your money). So, we've rounded up the best buffets in Las Vegas for you to ensure your next trip is filled with endless good eats.

Bacchanal Buffet

Located inside Caesar's Palace, Bacchanal Buffet is the largest buffet in Las Vegas, spread out over 25,000 square feet of space. The buffet has 10 kitchens, 9 chef-attended action stations, and over 250 different menu items to choose from. Menu items cover a wide variety of cuisine types including American and Mediterranean, with seafood, sushi, dim sum, and more. Bacchanal Buffet also offers vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. The buffet even offers brunch options, including a freshly blended-smoothie station, yogurt parfaits, pancakes, waffles, eggs benedict, smoked salmon and bagels, omelets made-to-order, and chicken fried steak with biscuits and house-made country gravy.

If you're looking for a sprawling, seemingly never-ending buffet, this is the one for you. Brunch takes place Friday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. — adults eat for $64.99, while kids ages 4 to 10 eat for $32.50. Dinner takes place Monday through Thursday from 3:30 p.m. to 10 p.m and Friday through Sunday from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. Adult dinner costs $79.99, while kids ages 4 to 10 can eat dinner for $39.99. This buffet may be on the pricier side since it's the largest, but it will give you the widest selection to choose from. Due to the buffet's popularity, it is also recommended to reserve your spot online before you go.

The Buffet at Wynn

The Buffet at Wynn is made up of 16 food kitchens with more than 90 delicious dishes to choose from, many of which are made-to-order choices. The buffet prides itself on freshly made food, so all of its dishes are either cooked in small batches or made to order right in front of you. Popular dishes include meat, seafood, and sushi, as well as two new stations: an eggs Benedict station and a Latin Street Food station. The Buffet at Wynn is open for both brunch and dinner seven days a week. Brunch Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. costs $46.99 per person plus tax while Gourmet Brunch is served on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday during the same time for $50.99 per person plus tax. Nightly Seafood Gourmet Dinner from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. is $74.99 per person plus tax every day. Children ages 3 to 9 are always half-price always.

Because of the buffet's popularity, it is recommended to pre-pay for priority seating during peak hours. While this is not a traditional reservation, it holds your place in line ahead of those who simply walk in. While the Buffet at Wynn is neither the most expensive nor the most cost-effective option for your buffet experience, it is definitely worth the price because of its fresh, predominately made-to-order model.

The Buffet at Bellagio

The Buffet at Bellagio offers dishes from all around the world — Italian, Japanese, Chinese, American, and more. With fresh ingredients and live-action cooking stations, the Buffet at Bellagio is sure to satisfy. Children under the age of 5 eat complimentary, while children 6 to 11 years of age eat for half off.

Brunch is offered every day from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and dinner is offered Wednesday through Sunday from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Adult brunch pricing is $44.99 Monday through Thursday and $49.99 Friday through Sunday. Adult dinner pricing is $59.99 Wednesday through Thursday, $66.99 on Friday, and $74.99 Saturday and Sunday. The buffet at Bellagio also offers a beverage package for $24.99, which gets you unlimited wine, beer, mimosas, screwdrivers, margaritas, and Bloody Marys for up to two hours. The Buffet at Bellagio is a great choice especially if you have young children with you, since the age cut-off for eating for free is one of the highest, and the children's pricing is very reasonable.

MGM Grand Buffet

The MGM Grand Buffet offers a wide variety of cuisine for some of the best prices around. While the MGM Grand Buffet is open every day, it is only open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., so it is strictly a lunch or brunch option. Monday through Thursday adult entry costs $27.99, while entry for children ages 5 to 11 is $16.99. Friday through Sunday, adult entry costs $36.99 and entry for children ages 5 to 11 is $17.99. Children 4 years of age and under always eat complimentary.

This pricing is around half of what many of the other popular Vegas buffets run you, which makes it an incredible deal. As long as you aren't looking to go after 3 p.m., the MGM Grand Buffet is a great choice to save some money while still feasting on some delicious Vegas buffet food. Additionally, while you can book a table in advance, it is not always as packed as some of the other popular spots due to its lack of dinner service.

The Buffet at Excalibur

The Buffet at Excalibur offers many different tasty breakfast and lunch dishes, with traditional options like bacon and pancakes as well as a made-to-order crepes and omelets station. However, the Buffet at Excalibur is only open for brunch from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. daily. On weekdays, adult entry costs $28.99 and children ages 5 to 11 eat for $16.99. On Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, adults entry costs $31.99 and children ages 5 to 11 eat for $17.99.

The Buffet at Excalibur offers some of the lowest prices you will find for a Vegas buffet, but this is likely because they are limited to brunch hours. In fact, the Buffet at Excalibur has one of the earliest end times — 2 p.m. However, if you're an early riser looking for a fantastic 7 a.m. unlimited breakfast deal, then this is definitely the perfect location for you since most other buffets don't open until at least 8 a.m.

A.Y.C.E. Buffet

The A.Y.C.E. Buffet is located inside of the Palms Casino Resort and features seven unique food stations: World Pan, Revival, The Greenery, The Roastery, The Hearth, Smoke & Fire, and Sweet & Light. In addition to the normal daily stations available at the buffet, there are also weekly specialty nights on offer, including all-you-can-eat lobster on Wednesday nights, a crab feast on Thursday nights, prime rib on Friday nights, and a Champagne brunch on Saturdays and Sundays. With so many different options and specialty nights to choose from, you'll never be bored with your selections — even if you return night after night.

Regular dinner takes place on Mondays and Tuesdays from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturdays from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., and Sundays from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Adult entry for weekend brunch costs $32.99, adult regular dinner costs $36.99, adult lobster dinner costs $64.99, adult crab feast dinner costs $58.99, and adult prime rib dinner costs $42.99. Pricing for children ages 3 to 11 includes weekend brunch for $19.99, regular dinner for $21.99, lobster dinner for $54.99, crab feast dinner for $48.99, and prime rib dinner for $29.99. While the prices for specialty nights are on the higher end, the A.Y.C.E. Buffet does offer premium quality food choices on those days. Additionally, there are still a large number of options available from the regular stations on standard dinner nights that are definitely worth the much more reasonable price.

Señor Frog's

Señor Frog's is a particularly unique option for a buffet feast located inside of Treasure Island Hotel. It's a Mexican restaurant that also offers regular dining during normal hours. However, its biggest draw is its weekend drag brunch held Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Alongside the buffet brunch and unlimited mimosas, top drag queens from the hit reality competition show RuPaul's Drag Race put on a full-drag performance for the audience.

Tickets are $90 for general admission and $120 for VIP, which includes an upgrade to complete open bar access — rather than only mimosas — and a meet-and-greet with the drag queens. Because all ticket packages include access to alcohol, the drag brunch buffet is a 21-plus event. This is a great option for an adults-only trip, as the party atmosphere really gets you in the Vegas mood. Additionally, while tickets may be significantly more expensive than some other buffet options on this list, this package is unique in that it combines a food buffet, bottomless alcoholic drinks, and live entertainment into one package. If you paid for each of those three experiences separately elsewhere in Las Vegas it would likely cost you much more than the cost of Señor Frog's tickets.

Wicked Spoon

Wicked Spoon, located inside of The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas provides an impressive spread of breakfast and lunch options every day. Breakfast is served on weekdays between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m., lunch is served on weekdays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and on Saturdays and Sundays brunch is served from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Adult breakfast costs $38, adult lunch costs $45, and adult brunch costs $49. Children ages 5 to 10 can eat breakfast for $19, lunch for $22.50, and brunch for $24. Children 4 years or younger eat complimentary when accompanied by a paying adult. Bottomless mimosas, Champagne, Bloody Marys, or Bud Light draft packages are also available for an additional $25 per person for those 21-plus, with a 90-minute limit. Wicked Spoon also has its own unique menu of specialty beverages that can be ordered à la carte for $17 each, or you can purchase a Specialty Bottomless beverage package for $45, with a 90-minute limit. While the buffet is only open for breakfast, lunch, and brunch, it does have a distinctive selection of dishes with an extensive cold bar, an Asian station, an international station, a grill station, and more. It also offers particularly unique drink packages for you to enjoy.

Border Grill

Border Grill is a Mexican restaurant located inside of Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino that's owned by two Food Network-famous chefs — Mary Sue Milliken and Susan Feniger. The restaurant offers normal lunch and dinner service during the week, but also serves a noteworthy brunch buffet on the weekends. Border Brunch takes place every Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and offers options for unlimited small plates and bottomless mimosas, Micheladas, and Bloody Marys.

The unlimited small plates package costs $44.99 per person, and adding the drink package for bottomless mimosas, Micheladas, and Bloody Marys costs an additional $27.99. You can also order brunch cocktails and coffee drinks à la carte during brunch service. The brunch menu of small plates is filled with fun Mexican twists on typical breakfast items like Horchata French Toast, Breakfast Tacos, Barbacoa Benedict, and more. Border Grill is a particularly unique option on this list because unlike most other places, it is a regular service restaurant most of the time but pulls out all of the stops for its weekend brunch. Because of this, the atmosphere is a bit more upscale than a run-of-the-mill buffet, with two floors of beautiful outdoor space and a fun and creative menu.

Imperial Sushi Seafood Buffet

Imperial Sushi Seafood Buffet is a stand alone buffet restaurant specializing in seafood and sushi. While most of the other buffets on this list are located inside of casino resorts along the main section of the Las Vegas Strip, Imperial Sushi Seafood Buffet is located a little further out of the way — about 3 miles from the Strip. On weekdays, the lunch buffet is open from 12:00 p.m. to 2:50 p.m. and the dinner buffet is open from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. On weekends and holidays, the buffet is open from 11:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

The Monday through Friday lunch buffet costs $24.99 for adults and $22.99 for senior citizens over the age of 65. Imperial Sushi Seafood Buffet has a unique pricing system for children —  $12.99 lunch for those under 5 feet tall and under the age of 11 and $8.99 lunch for those under 4 feet tall and under the age of 11. Children under 3 feet tall eat for free always. For the daily dinner buffet and the weekend buffet, which draw a crowd for serving lobster and snow crab legs, adult entry costs $42.99, senior citizen entry costs $39.99, entry for children under 5 feet tall and under the age of 11 costs $19.99, and entry for children under 4 feet tall and under the age of 11 costs $12.99. This is a great option for those looking for a senior citizen discount or specifically looking for sushi and seafood.

Market Place Buffet

Market Place Buffet is located inside of Rampart Casino at the Resort at Summerlin. Market Place Buffet offers a range of different cuisines and specialty nights spread throughout the week. The buffet is not open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and lunch is only offered on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. In place of lunch service on Saturdays and Sundays, Champagne Brunch is held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. For dinners, Deli Night Dinner is held on Mondays from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., the Prime Rib Dinner Buffet is held on Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., and Aloha Night Dinner is held on Saturdays from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

In addition to the many fun theme nights that Market Place Buffet holds, another big draw is the pricing. For adults, the Lunch Buffet costs $19.99, Prime Rib Dinner Buffet and the Aloha Night Dinner cost $30.99, Weekend Champagne Brunch costs $31.99, and Deli Night Dinner $26.99. And on top of already great prices, those with Rampart Plus, Summerlin, Premier, or Elite Cards can enjoy discounted entry to the buffet at any time. Market Place Buffet also has the cheapest drink deal on our list that allows you to add an all-you-can-drink beer and wine package to any meal for only $7.99. Pricing is also quite reasonable for children — those 12 years old and under can enjoy dinner and brunch for $17.99 and lunch for $12.99.

The Buffet at Luxor

The Buffet at Luxor offers extensive food options in a casual setting. Highlights of the food stations on offer include a 30-foot salad bar, a homemade pizza station, a carving station with slow-roasted beef steamship, slow-roasted ham steamship, and roasted turkey, a made-to-order omelets and egg benedicts station, a dessert station with freshly baked pastries and sugar-free desserts, and other dishes from around the world.

The Buffet at Luxor is closed on Tuesdays and is open from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. throughout the rest of the week. Weekday adult entry costs $28.99, while weekday entry for children ages 5 to 11 costs $16.99. Weekend brunch (Friday through Sunday) costs $31.99 for adults and $17.99 for children ages 5 to 11. Those over the age of 21 can also add an all-you-can-drink mimosa or Bloody Mary package for $14.99 plus tax (limited to 1 hour and 30 minutes). The Buffet at Luxor is a great option for reasonable food prices for both children and adults, as well as a well-priced drink package for adults.
