The popular Brooklyn BBQ Blowout is back for another season, and Food Republic is happy to partner with the team for a fourth year. Last night, the year’s first event took place at Good Company in Williamsburg, featuring Greenpoint Fish & Lobster Co., who served up grilled fish tacos with fresh-made tortilla chips and Gustavo’s salsa. The next BBQ Blowout, featuring Sarah Simmons from NYC hot spot Birds & Bubbles, is on Tuesday, June 9, at Good Company.

‘Tis the season for BBQ! The popular Brooklyn BBQ Blowout is back for another season, and Food Republic is honored to partner with the team for a fourth year. As a refresher, the event is hosted by our dudes at Finger on the Pulse and features guest chefs, guest DJs and quality beer (in various quantities). The event focused on Southern cuisine, recipes and techniques, with well known chefs from around the country stopping by during the day to film interviews, chat about food, mix drinks and experiment in the kitchen with Southern-themed dishes.
