Here's my thing with sliders: by the time you're full, you will have ingested at least twice as much bread as if you'd just had a regular burger. One slider won't do it...unless they're one of these spectacularly filling mini Paleo bacon avocado burgers.

Chicken and waffles is one of the greatest seemingly illogical food combos in the history of seemingly illogical food combinations. People who have never had this special flavor combo are always amazed how good it is when they finally get their chance. But how to replicate this at a tailgate party? Here's a crazy idea that's so crazy it just might work. Try it.

Move over, popcorn chicken, there's a new addictive fried chicken bite in town (if the town is Taiwan). Salt and pepper chicken is one of the country's most popular street foods, and unlike chargrilled blood sausage skewers, pork buns, hand-pulled noodles and other things I'll be eating at the Taste Taiwan Culinary Tour, you can actually make this in your kitchen at home.

These mini stuffed lamb meatballs are just about everything you could ask for in a one-bite party snack: meaty, cheesy, tangy, savory and sweet all at the same time. I love potato skins, but the combination of bacon, melted cheddar and melting sour cream can actually be a little too much even for a dish that's meant to be shameless. Don't shoot, I'm only human. Instead, I load my potato skins with creamy homemade spinach feta dip, sprinkle with parmesan and broil 'til crispy on top. That way you can eat more of them.

You may recall my zero-effort kimchi pickled eggs. You can make this recipe with regular boiled eggs or my magical spicy ones. Either way you're in for some fermented cabbage goodness. Kimchi and eggs are a natural pairing. The acid and heat cut the richness of the yolk, so it's only natural that during a deviled egg-inventing rampage I went with something like this.
