Each year, food-media professionals, chefs, small-batch producers and chefs yearning for a cookbook deal come together for panel discussions that take place over three days at the Food Book Fair, held April 10-12 at the iconic — if something that’s only been around since 2012 can be iconic — Wythe Hotel. Now in its fourth year, the Food Book Fair is presenting panels on such topics as “Food and Empire,” “Cookbooks and History” and “Chinese Food in America." There’s even a special literary-themed dinner.
