We all do it. In the shower, at the brunch table with friends, while running on the treadmill. We escape from our day-to-day grind to ponder where we want to travel next. Away from reality and, now more than ever, where we’d like to explore the culture of food. As we enter the autumn months, when humid air turns crisp and the liquor in our glasses to a darker shade, let us explore some favorite travel destinations for the food alone. There’s the re-invented restaurant scene in Prague and wildly interesting markets of Israel. Closer to home, Decatur — a blossoming suburb to the east of Atlanta — is emerging as one of the country’s most exciting neighborhoods. And of course there’s autumn in New York City, arguably the best time to visit. You can visit try the new urban barbecue restaurants or head to Queens for Korean soondubu. Happy travels.
