The Meal Plan: Rosh Hashanah

Rosh Hashanah is a time to welcome in the New Year with family, friends and, of course, food. Dishes served on Rosh Hashanah are traditionally sweet, spiked with apples, pomegranates and honey — to signify a pleasant year ahead. But also, plenty of homestyle Jewish favorites make an appearance too. Here are a few of our favorite recipes, all dressed up for the holiday, which starts tomorrow (Wednesday) at sundown.
