Redhook Brewery Introduces Labels Supporting Marriage Equality

Seattle-based brewery Redhook is introducing a new program in support of marriage equality. After initially sharing an image online supporting the cause, the brewery received so much passionate response that print posters are being distributed to its accounts nationwide. The campaign features three Redhook brands, including the new Audible Ale, created in partnership with sports broadcasting legend Dan Patrick. Hats off to Redhook Field Marketing Representative Spencer Czapiewski for coming up with the witty taglines (see the gallery).

Redhook Brand Manager Karmen Olson Stevens tells Food Republic that the project "was well received by most with a few folks who were really mad and threatened to reject our beer...The feedback on social media has been overwhelmingly positive. Any time you take a stand for a cause you believe in there are always going to be a few people who disagree. But we're holding firm on this one."
