The 7 Best Things I Ate In Paris This Fall
Veal, escargots, lots of miso, no burgers!
On a recent sojourn in Paris, I dodged the burgers that are all the rage in Paris, you know, and instead opted for a mélange of traditional, perfectly executed French classics. I especially enjoyed a variety of avant-garde dishes from a generation of young French chefs, who are dominating Paris’ hot dining scene. I dropped into some of the city's of-the-moment modern bistros and was also fortunate enough to experience old-school French cooking in its finest form — at home. While no amount of time is sufficient to experience the culinary paradise that is Paris in its entirety, here is a look at some of the best things I ate one recent week.
