Word Of The Day: Chesty

Chesty: adjective. 1. A buxom, well-endowed or otherwise "nicely filled out" individual. 2. The reason your tea doesn't taste so great.

Chesty tea, in tea-tasters' terms, is tea which has been improperly packed or stored, the effects of which can be detrimental to a tea's subtle flavors. Storage in a wooden tea chest (hence, literally "chesty")with too strong of a woody aroma is a common culprit of chestiness. Good thing we've taken to storing our tea in hermetically sealed bags in little cardboard boxes in wood composite cabinets.
