Word of the Day: Beer Mat
Building up your kitchen vocab arsenal
There is nothing more polite than an English gentleman. Especially of late, we can all agree that when it comes to etiquette, style, relationships or cooking advice we can’t help but take these guys seriously. So what would they say about your drinking adventures? "Oy! Use a beer mat!"
A beer mat is similar to if not precisely like an American coaster, traditionally placed underneath one's glass of booze to prevent permanent table or bar marks. You don’t use a beer mat (American coaster)? How rude! We would affably suggest you start, especially if you enter into one of the following establishments.
