Scorpion Bar's Spicy Salsa Recipe

Spicy, fresh salsa (hold the scorpion, please)

No scorpions were harmed in the making of this salsa. We don't advise any cooking or contact with scorpions, but we do advise you try out this killer salsa recipe as made by Scorpion Bar in Foxwoods Casino. The secret to this simple salsa is fresh, ripe tomatoes, sriracha hot sauce and Scorpion Bar's special spice blend. As chef Kevin Long says, "Simple, easy to maintain, delicious."
Servings: 8
Ingredients
4 vine ripe tomatoes, diced
2 cups plus 2 tablespoons Sriracha hot sauce
1/2 cup white onion, chopped
1/2 cup red onion, chopped
2 cups jalapeño peppers, chopped
1 oz lemon juice
1.5 oz lime juice
2 tablespoons kosher salt
4 1/2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 ounce Scorpion Mexican Spice
Directions:
- Mix all ingredients together and let sit for 30 minutes.
- Serve with tortilla chips
